The heron engraved by Dexamenos has inspired generations of jewellers, appearing in carved gemstones and gold throughout history. Rather than recreating the original intaglio, I wanted to celebrate the bird itself. This ring places the heron in solid 18-carat gold, allowing its elegant silhouette to become the sole focus of the design.
